Worthy Pottery
Just 2 miles away from Bradworthy the pottery will be opening its doors to all. There will be pottery demonstrations throughout the weekend by the proprietor potter Lynnette Hare and guest potters David Cleverly and Phil Leach. Lynn's work will be on display and there will be the opportunity to acquire her wares. Open 10-4 Saturday and Sunday.

Have a go at throwing a pot on the wheel or hand build a pot for only £10.
Decorate a pot today for Raku firing tomorrow afternoon for only £15.

10am - Noon. Decorate a pot for Raku firing later today for only £15
1pm - 4pm. Raku firing. Watch as the pots are taken out of the kiln at around 1000C, put into sawdust to blacken and crackle, cooled off in water then cleaned. Very dramatic and exciting!!

From Bradworthy take the Chilsworthy and Holsworthy road running south from the square. About 1 mile along this road is at crossroad at Bradworthy Cross. Turn right here, signposted to Tamar Lakes. Then, ignore first lane to the right, carry on to turn right at Jens crossroads, then Worthy Pottery is 250 metres on the right.
