Bradworthy Primary Academy
Children at the school are always encouraged to get involved with our festival and the teachers do a wonderful job of involving them in art-based projects based on the them of the festival.
That theme this year is, of course, "UNITY"

At Bradworthy Primary our annual Art Exhibition, based on the theme ‘Unity’, will be open to the public in the school hall over the Festival weekend. As visitors in previous years will tell you this is not your average school show and we have established a reputation for creativity.
At the time of writing, children are only just beginning their projects but, if past exhibitions are anything to go by, we can expect an outpouring of eccentricity and bonkersness with work in many media ranging from papier machee to welded steel and from knitting to cabinet-making, all relying on the use of recycled and reclaimed materials. It’s inspiring what you can make out of junk.
For our individual challenge the children will be making a model of themselves with a personal interpretation. They will also be working in classes to produce a group display based on the idea of Unity as collective nouns; you know, a herd of cows, a crash of rhinos, a stretch of giraffes, a bask of crocodiles. There are some crazy ones out there. Class Six are making a Crew of Pirates.
The Bradworthy Academy Primary School is out on Mill Road, 200yds on the right.
